SUBMIT TO NEW CHITOSE 2023

How does it work? (Short / Feature)

1. Make sure your film is online on Youtube, Vimeo, GoogleDrive etc. Prepare the web link to the film (URL) and password. (Note: Submit a preview link of the whole film, not a trailer.) VR works must be with a URL link to a VR build file. Films with languages other than Japanese or English must have English subtitles at the time of submission. For films with Japanese, English subtitles must be provided if they pass the primary selection.

2. Prepare synopsis and a director’s profile. If the film has an English dialogue or an English subtitle, prepare an English dialogue list.

3. Prepare 1 to 3 images from the film and a director’s photo.

4. Choose the film category from below. Feature film: over 40 minutes, Short film: under 30 minutes
   In the case of 360° or VR works, choose the category “Short film”.

5. Complete the information requested in the form.

6. Confirm your registration. You will receive a completion by email.

Submissions for Short films (under 30 minutes) and Feature films (over 40 minutes) are accepted only via the Online Submission Form or FilmFreeway. Choose the category you want to submit your film to.
