We are so excited to announce the poster for NEW CHITOSE 2023 designed by Japanese Manga Artist, ICHIKAWA Haruko.
ICHIKAWA Haruko
A Japanese manga artist who spent her school days in Sapporo, Japan. Won the Shiki Grand Prize at the AFTERNOON Shikishou 2006 Summer Contest with Mushi to Uta (Insect and Song), and made a debut with Hoshi no Koibito (Star Lover). Her first collection of works Mushi to Uta – Ichikawa Haruko Sakuhinshū won the Originality Prize at the 14th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize. The Houseki no Kuni (Land of the Lustrous) series is being published in Kodansha’s Monthly AFTERNOON. Partly took part in character design for the games Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
