The festival held the “NEW CHITOSE AIRPORT PITCH 2023” as an official program during the festival period for directors and producers to create an opportunity for them to take the first step toward a new project. Now, “NEW CHITOSE AIRPORT PITCH 2023” is available to view online on the Official YouTube Channel. The festival welcomes producers associated with the festival and helps the artists.

My Organs Lying on the Ground

“My Organs Lying on the Ground” is a stop motion animated film which is based on the Japanese folk belief called “Tainai Kuguri” – a ritual ceremony to go through a cave, grass ring or the interior of a large Buddhistic statue to experience rebirth.

Hanshan and Shide
Speaker : YAMADA Ryoji
Hanshan and Shide were two real-life Chinese wind-crazed monks. In Japan, numerous painters have depicted Kansan Jitokuzu as Zen and ink paintings, and it is widely known that in the Meiji era, the painting was used as the subject of short stories by popular writers.
